I was tasked with creating an interesting poster for a modern Macbeth interpretation. The main goal of the poster was to attract college students who would normally ignore a typical rendition of Macbeth. I decided to create icons for all the major elements of the play since icons are a staple of everyday life when you have a cellphone. I then kept with that thought pattern and went with the all too common scenario of a cracked screen to play off the tragic nature of Macbeth.
