I was asked to design a logo and website comps for FORME, a high-end residential interior design firm with a hands-on personality. I went for a simple and to the point design for the logo because I did not want it to be overly complicated. It had to project an upscale look with a hint of approachability from the consumer point of view. The color scheme I went with also encompasses this idea of a high-end look with a warm personality.
I approached the website comp with the upscale elegance angle as a priority and left the warm personality to be felt through the colors. Highlighting FORME's previous interior design work was my goal, hence I went with a full-screen website that opened with a showcase of their projects. For the rest of the website, I went for a clean and minimal look with a small drop of color peeking behind each panel as means to not be too stoic. In the mobile website that element was removed to avoid a busy design on such a smaller screen.
